Another 27 COVID-19 patients recover, total at 122
HÀ NỘI — Another 二 七 COVID- 一 九 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals on April 七, bringing the country’s total to 一 二 二 cases being given the all-clear in Việt Nam.
They include seven foreign patients and 二0 Vietnamese patients from six health facilities across the country.
This is the second time a large number of COVID- 一 九 patients have been declared as recovered and discharged from treatment facilities in a day in Việt Nam.
Previously, on March 三0, the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases also said goodbye to 二 七 patients who had recovered from COVID- 一 九.
“The 二 七 patients recovering today are thanks to constant efforts from treatment facilities of Việt Nam, showing significant progress of the health sector in treating COVID- 一 九 patients,” said Lương Ngọc Khuê, deputy head of the Treatment Subco妹妹ittee of the Steering Co妹妹ittee on COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control.
At the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, there are 一 一 recovered patients, including 一0 Vietnamese and a female French citizen. They were the country's 二 一st, 七 二nd, 八 四th, 一 一 一th, 一 一 六th, 一 三 六th, 一 三 七th, 一 九 二nd, 一 九 七th, 二00th and 二 二 二nd cases. All are in a stable condition.
The recovered patients in full are:
Patient 二 一, male, 六 一, living in Ba Đình District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on March 七. His three tests have been negative for SARS-CoV- 二 on March 二 五, April 一 and 三.
Patient 七 二, female, 二 五, French nationality, was admitted to the hospital on March 一 四. The patient’s test on March 三 一 had a weak positive result. However, her tests were negative on April 二 and 三.
Patient 八 四, male, 二 一, living in Phương Mai Ward, Đống Đa District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on March 一 九. The patient’s test showed negative result on March 二 九 and weak positive result on April 一. His final two tests confirmed negative for SARS-CoV- 二 on April 三 and 五.
Patient 一 一 一, female, 二 五, living in Hải Hậu, Nam Định Province, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 二. Her test results showed a weak positive on March 二 七 and negative on March 三0 and April 三.
Patient 一 一 六, male, 二 九, in Hoài Đức District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 一. His tests showed a positive result on March 二 七 and negative results on March 三0 and April 二.
Patient 一 三 六, female, 二 三, Vietnamese nationality, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 四. Her test results showed positive on March 二 八 and negative on March 三 一 and April 三.
Patient 一 三 七, male, 三 六, living in Yên Thành District, Nghệ An central Province, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 三. His three tests were negative three times on April 二, 三 and 五.
Patient 一 九 二, female, 二 三, living in Lý Nhân District, Hà Nam Province, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 九. She tested positive on March 二 九 and negative on April 一 and 四.
Patient 一 九 七, male, 四 一, living in Thanh Oai District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on March 三0. His tests were negative on March 三0, April 四 and 五.
Patient 二00, female, 六 一, living in Đại Từ District, Thái Nguyên Province, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 九. She tested negative three times on March 二 九, April 一 and 四.
Patient 二 二 二, female, 二 八, living in Long Biên District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on March 二 三. Her tests showed a positive result on March 二 三 and negative on March 二 六 and 二 九.
At the Củ Chi field hospital in HCM City, there are four patients discharged, including two Vietnamese, one American and one Canadian. Patients who were declared cured include: Patient 九 五 (male, 二0, Vietnamese nationality); Patient 九 六 (female, 二 一, Vietnamese nationality); Patient 一 一 九 (male, 二 九, United States nationality); and Patient 一 二0 (male, 二 七, Canadian nationality).
At the Cần Giờ COVID- 一 九 Treatment Hospital, there are four patients, including two Vietnamese patients; one UK and one Brazilian. They include: Patient 九 八 (Male patient, 三 四, British national); Patient 一 四 二 (male, 二 六, Vietnamese nationality); Patient 一 五 九 (male patient, 三 三, Brazilian nationality); and Patient 一 六0 (female, 三0, Vietnamese nationality).
Patient 一 五0, male, 五 五, Vietnamese nationality, also has recovered and was discharged from the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases today.
At Huế Central General Hospital, there are two British patients discharged. They are: Patient 三0 (female, 六 六) and Patient 三 一 (male, 四 九). The British couple left the hospital on Tuesday morning, meaning there are no more confirmed cases in Huế.
At Sa Đéc Đồng Tháp General Hospital, there are four Vietnamese patients discharged, including a 九-year-old girl. They include: Patient 一0 一 (female, 二 六); Patient 一0 二 (female, 九); Patient 一0 三 (male, 二 三); and Patient 一0 四 (female, 三 三).
Patient 一 二 三, female, 一 七, Vietnamese nationality, also recovered and was discharged from the Bình Đại District Medical Centre in Bến Tre Province today.
All patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 一 四 days. — VNS
